The ideal class to get a feel for musical theater, and for our experienced performers, get their fill of it!

Prairie Playhouse prides itself on quality children's theater programming. With this class geared for ages 8-12, students will learn both the basics and beyond of acting, singing, production, and theatre etiquette, and with covid in mind, will also get a taste for film acting vs stage acting!

The final project/performance will be both a zoom performance, and also a filmed production they can keep with them forever. And if covid allows us, we will make every attempt to perform in person if we can find a safe venue.

This class will be Covid-friendly with

• Temperature checks at the door
• Limited show size (6-person cast)
• Limited class size (12 max with staggered rehearsal times for up to 2 casts)
• Masks required

Tuition per student is elevated compared to our normal class fees, due to the limited class sizes and increased production needs. Registering for the class holds your place with half due immediately, and the other half automatically billed 60 days after the first payment.
